The Vinarium tower

Vinarium, the highest Slovenian observation tower, offers a panoramic view of Lendava and the landscape of four countries: Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia, and Austria. The tower, which some call the Pomurje Eiffel Tower, is also open on all public holidays. On the ground floor you will also find the Vinarium Cafe.

The Lendavske gorice wine road

The wine-tourist road of Lendavske Gorica, which stretches from Dolga vas to Pince, is a typical Slovenian wine-growing region. It is considered to be the one with the most carefully cultivated vineyards in Slovenia. Lendavske Gorice offers options for an active holiday, and you can also treat yourself to a visit to one of its many wine cellars or tourist farms.

Church of the Holy Trinity

The Church of the Holy Trinity is located in Lendavske Gorice, in a place where a military fort once stood. In it you can find a natural mummy which, according to legend, is the body of a knight named Mihael Hadik, who is said to be one of the heroes of the fight against the Turks.

A visit to Lendava will not be complete without tasting the local cuisine. Lendava is the world capital of Bograč stew. In 2022, at the annual Bogračfest festival in Lendava, they cooked a Guinness bograč stew, which was also the largest amount of Bograč stew ever prepared, earning them a record in the Guinness Book of Records. And for dessert, you can't go wrong with the Prekmurje layer cake.
