Panorama Archaeological Park
The grassy hill in the centre of the city, named Panorama by the locals, has been known to the professional public as a rich archaeological site since the middle of the 19th century due to the discovery of a large number of Roman stone monuments. On the hill and below its surface lies the central part of the ancient Roman city and its important public buildings (sanctuaries, an early Christian church, fortifications and a covered market).
