Well-kept beach with a waterslide

The San Simon Resort features Izola’s most popular bathing complex for families. It also has a pebble beach, a beach volleyball court, a large waterslide, and the remains of an ancient Roman villa in the immediate vicinity. The swimming pool is surrounded by meadows, pines, and acacia trees, which provide pleasant natural shade from the summer sun. On the beach there is also a bistro, a bar with ice cream and drinks, beach umbrellas and loungers for rent, and a water sports centre.

Exploring the surrounding area

Izola is an old fishing town with a beautiful old city centre just a few minutes’ walk from the San Simon Resort. While wandering around Izola, you can visit the House of the Sea, which bears witness to Izola's maritime heritage. Children can learn about the history of Izola by participating in a treasure hunt, overcoming various challenges, solving puzzles, and attending a creative workshop at the end of the tour. You can also choose to go on a guided tour where you’ll discover Izola’s forgotten secret, or a family walk by the sea and around the town.
