17 development goals for a better tomorrow
Sustainable Development Goals are our guide: The 2030 Agenda was adopted in 2015 by 193 United Nations Member States. With it, they set 17 development goals, with a strong vision of transforming our world, encouraging us to take the brave and transformative steps urgently needed to put the world on a sustainable and enduring path. The Agenda’s Sustainable Development Goals (CTRs) aim to mobilise action over the next decade in order to eradicate poverty and hunger, to protect the planet, and to ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity. The goals are designed to work in a spirit of partnership and pragmatism in order to improve life in a sustainable way – for our children and for future generations.
