You don’t need much to discover the surroundings! Just an abundance of good spirit and comfortable shoes, and you’re ready to go. Our hiker-friendly hotels are

More than 50 dishes from Prekmurje and local suppliers
At
Terme 3000, we are proud to offer our guests more than 50 dishes from Prekmurje, which are prepared following the recipes of our grandmothers, and more than 40 different dishes that contain buckwheat, a grain that strongly characterises the landscape of Prekmurje. We order a vast array of dairy products from local suppliers, including a variety of cheeses, yoghurts and buttermilk. Baking products are also locally prepared and served to guests, including vrtanek (plaited bread) and bread from the bread oven, onion bread, bread rolls, and flat cake with cracklings. Potatoes, onions, garlic, and carrots come from the local farms,as does the pumpkin seed oil, an indispensable part of Prekmurje.
Fresh and local ingredients, authentic flavours and traditional preparation
At Sava Hoteli Bled, we swear by ingredients that are sourced on the day they are used. We prepare all our sauces ourselves, and the hotel kitchens make the best jams and homemade ice cream. An important element of all this is the high-quality produce from local suppliers, from fresh local vegetables and dairy products, to prime trout from the local fish farmer. All our bars and restaurants offer authentic flavours that can only be created from local ingredients and with traditional preparation! Our Julijana Restaurant at the Grand Hotel Toplice even boasts the Bled Local Selection certificate, which is awarded to what has always lived and evolved in Bled and its surroundings, in the local people, in the soil, water and air. We received the certificate for our 4-course menu, in which the jury recognised quality, authenticity, and an innovative connection with the local environment.
Sustainability certifications
At Sava Hotels & Resorts, we want what is best for our guests and our planet, and we believe in the present and future of sustainable tourism, digitalisation, and the coexistence of tourism with the local environment, which we pursue in shaping our offer. The latter is prepared in accordance with the Strategy for the Sustainable Growth of Slovenian Tourism, which emphasises green, healthy, active, and sustainable. This is also demonstrated by the numerous sustainability labels and certificates held by our accommodation and other facilities in Bled.
